Business Supporting Youth Network
All businesses and industry groups who are involved in partnerships are invited to join the Business Supporting Youth Network. This network is a group of ‘like minded’ individuals representing local business and industry who have committed to a sustainable, strategic partnership to support a ‘whole of community approach’ to the issues and needs of the region and to support our young people to attain qualifications and experience that will support their future. By increasing the skills and knowledge of our local community, this allows the region’s local businesses to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness and thereby our competitiveness.
The businesses engaged in partnerships have joined the large multinationals in recognising that it represents ‘good business’ to engage in partnerships within their own community. By joining the network, partners have the added advantage of supporting each other through preferred supplier initiatives within the Network, information and sharing of expertise, promotion of their business across the stakeholder groups and recognition in the local community.
Your participation in partnerships is publicised on the ‘world wide web’, local media and across the community that you operate. You are provided with a ‘shop front’ sticker that confirms your commitment to the region and as such requests the support of the community in which you operate.
